So I'm on Windows 10 in the Ubuntu Linux subsystem, and I'm trying to run the configure script for gdb. My c: drive looks like this:
C:
|_gdb-9.1 -> folder with the gdb files
|_gdbBuild -> folder in which to build gdb
|_MinGW -> folder with the mingw toolchain
|_gcc -> folder with another gcc installation
|_other junk
When I run from: /mnt/c/gdbBuild the command

As you can see, I have 2 different installations of gcc (I reinstalled when I saw mingw's installation wasn't working), but it still tells me configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH. I downloaded the files from equation. As for me, I'm trying to debug c++ code, so I'd be happy to also accept answers which include removing c support. Thanks in advance!
