xv6 "Booting from Hard Disk" infinitely on QEMU

I have to run the xv6 OS on the QEMU emulator, using GDB to debug. I am using WSL on Windows to run a Linux environment. But everytime I try to run the program in QEMU, it just says "Booting from hard disk..." and stays like that forever(Without using GDB and Using GDB to set breakpoints). I've put breakpoints using GDB, even "break exec", but it stays the same. Could any of you guys try to help me understand what's going on? Alternatively, how to "look inside" the xv6 execution in QEMU to see what's happening? Thank you.

I've expected xv6 to load in QEMU normally, as I've seen in Youtube. I've already tried to uninstall and reinstall QEMU, GDB and xv6. My gcc is gcc-11.4, as it was asked to use gcc-11. I've seen it being run in WSL on Youtube, so I don't know what's possibly been going on with this one.
